World Religions Project



Students are going to be researching the 5 major world religions! Students will learn research skills with assistance from the media center staff. Students can pick any of the five major religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism) to research.





Research Strategies:


What to Include in your Research Notes:

• Founder of the Religion
• The Sacred Text
• The Religious Symbol
• Image Relating to your religion
• The History, spread, and development of your religion
• beliefs of the religion (this is a major portion)
• Holidays, celebrations or rites of passage
• an Important quote from your religion
• A timeline of 5 major events from your religion
• WORKSCITED!!
